RACE FOR THE CURE® A SUCCESS!
The 2010 Komen Boise Race for the Cure® was held on Saturday, May 8th and hosted over 16,000 participants! We are currently only 15% away from making our goal of $300,000 raised. Fundraising continues through May 31st, so please help us reach our goal.
FUNDRAISING STILL OPEN!
Do you remember our GET 10 to GIVE 10 fundraising campaign? If every participant asks 10 friends for 10 dollars, we could potentially raise over $1 Million dollars to grant out to our local area service providers. Right now we are only 15% away from our goal of $300,000! If your donations of $500 or higher are turned in and confirmed by May 31st, your name is automatically entered into a drawing for a chance to win a weekend in McCall or a flat screen TV. Remember, registration gets you to the Starting Line, your fundraising efforts get us closer to a Cure!

Money Raised at race goes to This money allows us to make grants to our 19 county service area for education and screening. 75% of the money raised stays in our community. The other 25% is given to Susan G. Komen national headquarters to make grants in the research arena—this is ground-breaking research to find a CURE for breast cancer. Next to the United States government, Susan G. Komen is the largest funder of breast cancer research.
